Dug up an old pin-up sketch (girls with guns is a staple in my collection of sketches) last night, and then thought it’d be a nice warmup to update it. The warmup “resketch” turned into a full blown piece.

I don’t know about other people, but the vibe I get from this chick is Penny (from Inspector Gadget) all grown up.

I dunno. Like I said: it’s an old sketch. God only knows what I was eating at the time. I mean, she’s got a shodding midriff top on, for Hawke’s sake.

As a side note, for those interested, this is totally done in Photoshop on my Cintique (something which has completely made my art look better, just quietly).

Nice to see something done with Penny that ISN'T just another picture of her barefoot or tied up.

Or in some cases, both.

I imagine she'd wind up working at Interpol alongside her Uncle

I think it's only natural that someone with her skills would end up a world-renowned investigator. If not for Interpol then maybe for the FBI or a similar bunch.

It's just nice to see a Penny that ISN'T either tied up, barefoot or BOTH. There's way too much art of that in this club.
